Dr. Cydney Osano M.D., MPH
Hello! I’m Dr. Osano. I have a love and passion for helping and caring for others. As a seasoned physician who specializes in preventing disease through lifestyle and managing weight by implementing evidence-based medicine, I enjoy learning and educating patients about the best ways to optimize health via nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and emotional & spiritual wellness.
I have over two decades of experience and expertise with managing the conditions of overweight and obesity through lifestyle counseling with or without medication (e.g. GLP-1 RAs like Wegovy, Saxenda, Zepbound; Phentermmine, Diethylpropion, and Contrave), medically-managing those who are pre- and post-bariatric surgery, managing weight regain after bariatric surgery, and developing lifestyle strategies for improving common chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure). Sharing my knowledge and empowering the patient is a joy for me. It would be an honor for me to walk with you on your path to your best weight and self. I will listen with openness, advise with empathy, and be a joy-filled coach. I look forward to seeing you evolve - mind, body and spirit - into the person you desire to become.
“Do you know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. “ 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
